self-portraits

So, I have been trying to test out more functions of my camera. I had been wanting to do some portrait shots on some friends of mine, but I figured I would mess around with the settings and try to get the hang of things first. What better way to do that then to set up the camera on a tripod and try different things on my own self? Here are a few of the self-portraits I ended up with. What do you guys think? I had a few problems getting the focus right so excuse the slight blurriness.
